Founded in 1996, Gate Technologies AF Ltd has a long, productive history of designing and delivering bespoke airport equipment solutions to the very highest standard.
Perhaps because of the inherent ‘small world’, international nature of air travel, airport construction refurbishment and upgrading has nearly always been an international market.
Whilst for some parts of a project it may be pragmatic to use local contractors, for more niche elements such as specialist airport furniture and security systems, the net will typically be cast much further when putting work out to tender.
This is one of the reasons why Gate Technologies has for many years been a global player, winning contracts for airports several thousands of miles from our UK headquarters.
Proud exponents of Great British design and engineering, GT has always been an international business, with the bulk of our work being overseas. We work directly with airports, individual airlines, construction companies and contractors, as well as other airport industry entities; from baggage handling companies to car hire and currency exchange.
